I've updated my Microsoft Office 2003 on my Windows XP Home computer to include Arial MS Unicode characters, so that I can put the five-pointed star symbol in Word documents. But, when I try to paste it into this window all I get is a blank square. Strangely, on my computer at work the star can be seen - but not my home computer. Anyone know how to fix this?

All I know is that for me the default font for Lernu is something like Tahoma or Verdana, so maybe those fonts don't support the Arial MS Unicode characters. I don't tend to use many unicode characters though so there may be something else causing the problem.
Hope the problem gets sorted!

You're right there. Tahoma and Verdana don't have the star character. But then the puzzle is how I can see the Arial MS symbols when I paste them from Word into lernu in a computer outside my home! Anyway, I've posted a query as part of a reply to something else on the Esperanto-speaking forum, maybe someone will know.
