How does one say "plain text" or "formatted text" (or for that matter the word "format" in the same context) in Esperanto?

Thanks ahead of time to whoever can give an answer!

The Komputada Leksikono has "plata teksto" for plain text.

For formatted text I'd go for "formatita teksto".

You can view the Leksikono here. I find it to be an extremely useful resource.

I would use simpla and riĉa for plain and unformatted respectively; cf the 'rich text' option in Wordpad and Hotmail.

Simpla would have been my guess, but I'll go with plata.

I've seen plain text called 'simple text', plata seems to denote flatness, you could even use klara as far as I know (according to the Lernu Vortaro). Just thought I'd put that out there for variety's sake lango.gif.

According to Komputeko 'plata teksto' and 'formatita teksto' are accepted terminology.
