Would the following all be considered correct:
Kiel vi nomigxas?
Kio estas via nomo?
Kiu vi estas?
as far as asking what someone's name is.
dankas al vi!

Could someone (maybe a mathematician) translate these terms: Galois theory, group cohomology, class field theory, group representations and L-functions (see Wikipedia for defenitions)? I'm translating a Wikipedia article, so help is appreciated.

JeffB:Getting away from the Original Post, but the title still applies...I guess that they would all be "correct". I would probably say, Kion oni nomas vin? but according to this thread in the Esperanto forum, the normal, preferred expression is Kio estas via nomo?

Btw in the English forum one has to manually click the SX/Ŝ key to get the ĉapeloj correct.

What are the differences, usage-wise, between:
diri: to say, tell
paroli: to speak, talk
Is one prefered over another in certain circumstances? My gut says that the diference is in the "audience" of the action.
Ĉu ne pravas?
p.s. thanks for the ŝ/sx button heads up, that's kind of cool.

JeffB:What are the differences, usage-wise, between:If you want to say 'Tell me', that is, give me specific information, that's diru al mi. But if you want to say 'Speak to me' or 'Talk to me' , that is, say something, anything, then that's parolu al mi. Thus, when you want to say 'I can speak Esperanto', that is, you can speak the language in general, not referring to anything specific, you say Mi kapablas paroli Esperanton.
diri: to say, tell
paroli: to speak, talk

Rogir:neologism..Kapabli is not a neologism. kapabl' is part of the netuŝebla Fundamento. Here's the entry from the Fundamenta Vortaro:
kapabl' capable, apte | capable | fähig | способный | zdolny.
So, as I was saying, Mi kapablas paroli Esperanton..
