Lunombrulino:Would it be easier if we started a yahoogroup on this topic?I may be alone in feeling this way, but Yahoo groups are one of the biggest pains in the patoot I've had to deal with in the area of discussion boards and forums.
Would the guild board not be an already-existing solution to any issues we have?

i never used a yahoo group, so i wouldn't know but it seems like we have enough places to write forms in. Also it seems that this form here at lernu, has been our best publicity, as it attracts people who are just starting to learning esperanto as well as people who are trying to strengthen their knowledge of esperanto.
also started (a while back)a facebook group called "Ordeno de la Verda Stelo" if anyone wants to join. right now its just for publicity i think.
Also as many of us are about to return to our busy lives, either back to school, or work, or both: it is extremely important for us to choose a meeting time(s) so the guild doesn't go dormant again. So today (Monday) and tomorrow (Tuesday) at 9pm server time I'm going to log on to play for a while, everyone's welcome to join me!

I don't like PVP realms, because they don't allow players to leisurely explore and quest--you always have to watch your back for enemies.
I've been playing World of Warcraft for over 2 years, on a "normal" (non-PVP) server--Moonrunner--and I am on frequently, nearly every day, at varying hours of the day. We have a small family guild, but all 3 of us speak Esperanto, and would be glad to muddle through fantasy-game vocabulary with other Esperanto-WoW friends. Our primary guild is "Dark Rain," but I have a bank guild named "I Speak Esperanto," specifically to advertise Esperanto while I'm banking and working in the auction house. I have a couple of guild bank tabs available, too.
A couple of months ago, a member of our local Esperanto Society decided to subscribe to WoW after we presented the game at our monthly meeting. He is currently in the "I Speak Esperanto" guild.
I have saved up a lot of under-20 green gear for new players, so if you decide to create a character on Moonrunner, I'd be happy to share items with you to get you started. If you are brand new to World of Warcraft, I will be glad to mentor you, and to try to do so in Esperanto as much as possible.
Please look for us on Moonrunner (US)--Alliance
My characters are: Francesa (primary), Sorchistino, Resanigisto, Trezora, Nebezonata, Februara, Nokto, and Kavalira.

As someone else posted, simply type /join esperanto, then type /# (whatever number the room was assigned when you joined), and say hello--or, rather "Saluton." We hope to see you soon.

So I was hopping that someone else would like to take guild leadership from me. Someone who can really dedicate some time into the guild. I am also willing to play for a few hours a week, if someone sets up the time.
anyways if someone is willing to be the guild leader, please send me a message and we can arrange for a time for both of us to log on. And hopefully when my life gets a little back to normal, I can come back as a full time member but for now, you could say I'm on stress leave.
