A cautionary tale

I just took the 'level B' exam, and now I'm fed up. Why? Not because I failed (though I did malgajo.gif ) but because of the reason I failed.
You see, I didn't notice that my wireless had dropped out when I submitted the 'paper'. Not to worry, I think. I restored the wireless, got the exam up again and then -- here's my downfall -- cleverly restored my answers with Firefox's natty Lazarus plug in. Brilliant!

But I really should have checked that the questions on the 2nd paper were the same as those on the first. Result: spectacular failure. I'm telling myself that I gave the right answers to the wrong questions. It's a sort of comfort. okulumo.gif

Thanks for letting me get that off my chest. I feel better now.

Sorry to hear about the fiasco. But at least you know that you might well have gotten through but for 'technical reasons'. I would make a good strong cup of tea, watch a favourite DVD, and have another go in a week's time. Good luck!

No time for a dvd, but the kettle went on straight away.

That's gotta be a pretty big tea if it's gonna have to last for a week ridulo.gif

I've failed the first exam twice ages ago because I didn't take my time and rushed it without study, I never went back to it though so maybe that's what I should do.

Bad luck! Definitely watch out on those answers though, as you've found out. The questions do indeed change, and even if they don't change, the order definitely changes.

Incidentally, this is why, if you ever e-mail ekzamenoj@lernu.net with a question comment on the exams, you should include the actual content of the exam question. Simply saying "Why was -eg- the answer on number four?" isn't enough to tell us which question you had difficulties with, since we have no way of knowing what your number four was.

I can't really blame bad luck, erinja. It's my own stulteco. One lives and learns. rideto.gif
