I have it set up like this
c] = ĉ
etc.
So when I type c] it doesn't do anything. Anyone know what the dealeo is?

For now it looks like using the US Extended keyboard layout is the best option for mac users like us.

Just in case anyone is wondering how to do it you:
System Prefs>Language and Text>Input Sources.
Towards the botoom you'll find US Extended. CHECK that box then UNCHECK the box that was checked originaly (don't know if that's necessary or not).
To make letters with the ^ symbol you:
FIRST type one of the letters it uses like c - u - j etc.
SECOND hit Shift+Option+6 and it should work.
To type the ŭ character you:
FIRST type u
SECOND hit Shift+Option+b
and there you have it! Have fun!

Ĉar mi skribas ofte en la serbo-kroata mi inkludis ankaŭ la supersignitajn literojn de tiu lingvo.
Mi do havas tute normale en la Mac-menuo mian klavaron. Estas bazita sur la svisa klavaro, do ne tre praktika por vi, bedaŭrinde....
Tia mesaĝo estas tajpata, kompreneble, per tio klavaro.

Problem is on the odd occasion you can't find the little things you need for Mac, e.g. things you wouldn't think of like the Brazilian Kurso de Esperanto. I wonder if anyone has had success running those kind of things over Crossover? I've tried it using virtualisation (e.g. Parallels) but to no avail.
My apologies I seem to have hijacked this thread... I'll go find a hobby now.
