For fandubbing this forum could be useful: http://voiceactingalliance.com/board/ but it could be tricky getting people to pronounce it understandably.

I'm an anime/manga fan. (And I'm also female. I'm pointing this out 'cause it seems like I am the lacking gender :\)
Except my Esperanto might as well be non-existant ^^; I've tried and tried (and I'm trying right now) to learn it, but I suck at self study lango.gif

Just keep at it, it comes naturally after a bit of reading and writing lango.gif (and preferably spoken practice if you're lucky enough to get that, my EO is pretty much only decent when written or spoken very slowly).

Sonteatro might also be a good place to look for voice actors. The advantage would be that they already speak Esperanto.

Yes, I know this thread is over a year old, but I was just talking about this with a friend, and I think that it would be a great idea to to fandubs for anime in Esperanto. Either that, or just provide subtitles for anime in Esperanto. Either of these options could help attract a lot of attention, and would certainly provide a great addition to the "library" section of Lernu. I'd be happy to try some voice acting or even translate if anyone is interested.

Although it's not exactly anime/manga, I've been thinking of fandubbing some Vocaloid songs in Esperanto recently. Might even make an Esperanto UTAUloid.

Fandubbing problems solved for anime - we'll just use Hatsune miku for every voice lango.gif

(well, it worked out for metal gear solid peacewalker)

Oh no! Wait, I'm starting to see it now...

Ho, bi nomijiyaasu "Josef"? Tio esutasu interesa nomo! Ho, bi ne pensasu tieru? Nu, mi pensasu tieru! Esutisu bona renkonti bin!

Holy. That works surprisingly well.

@josephschwenker
That feel when there are already people out there trying this.

(NikoNiko Account required, see my article on how to get one.)

Also that pride when you know the creator himself IRL. rido.gif

Yeah, I've seen the Esperanto Talkloids video. It's pretty good. Most Vocaloids do have sounds like v and rolled r as extras so they can probably pronounce Esperanto alright, though not really perfectly.

There's a song by Megurine Luka in Esperanto here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0f8sYE62X8
She has an English voicebank which I'm assuming has been used here to get a closer approximation to Esperanto pronunciation...
