Does anyone know where I can get a copy of this book? I've tried find it for free in pdf format, but I haven't had success.
I'd appreciate any help!

The book can be bought from standard Esperanto online catalogues such as those of ELNA, UEA or EAB.
According to one review, the book was translated from an English original (available from ELNA or EAB), but the translation is so good that it almost seems like an original Esperanto work.

I own a copy of the book and I enjoyed it very much; I recommend it. I do see that it looks extremely expensive at ELNA; I don't recall spending that much for my copy, actually. It looks to me like even with shipping from Europe, it is cheaper to buy it from UEA than from ELNA.
I do understand well that if you're on a budget, Esperanto books can get pricey, especially if they are printed in Western Europe, because the dollar is very weak right now. I recommend browsing through the ELNA catalog. Books printed in China or Eastern Europe tend to be cheaper.
You might try buying ELNA's "pound of used books for three dollars" - you never know what you might get! (though, uh, I can pretty much guarantee it won't be La Sxtona Urbo )

I don't mind if I don't get La ŝtona urbo... I would like to get it eventually, but $40 is much too pricey for me.
Thank you Erinja, I really appreciate your advice!
