ŜLOSI To lock
1. Fermi per seruro:
To close with a lock.
Mi ĉiam ŝlosas mian ĉambron.
I always lock my room.

2. Malhelpi ies eliron, ŝlosante pordon:

ADMIRI - To admire
- admiro = admiration
- admira = admiring (presumably in the sence of "la admira knabino - the admiring girl").
DIFINO/DEFINITION
Esti ravita per la beleco aŭ supereco - To be delighted by the beauty or superiority:
Ĉiuj admiris la pejzaĝon - Everyone admired the landscape.
Oni maron admiras, se oni maron ne iras - (presumably) One admires the sea if one does not go to sea.
Li rigardis bestojn kun admiro - He watched the beasts/animals (presumably of the large mammalian kind) with admiration.
Edzin' admirata - edzo malsata - A wife admired, a husband unsatisfied (?).
Tiu pentraĵo kolektis ĉirkaŭ si amason de admirantoj - That painting collected around itself a mass of admirers.
Ŝi estas admirinda aktorino - She is an admirable actor (admirinda literally meaning "admiration-worthy", which is kinda less vague than "admirebla" (possible to admire
