Scalex:I'm sure that everyone's familiar with the picture of a snowy owl with the caption "O RLY?". I've searched for an Esperanto version, but couldn't find one, so I made one myself. Enjoy!"ĈU VRE?"

is what I would have gone for (considering "Cxu vire?" makes no sense, just as "Oh ralley?" makes no sense in English).
But FTW!!!!!1!! FUWWY SICK M8!
(BTW - could "HO VRE?" work, given that in writing we have the question mark, and just as there is no real set "tone" for asking questions in EO, no one every says /rli:/ in English, so the complete disregard for rules balances out?)

BTW people, what sound do Esperanto owls make? If it's anything like "ho" then I'd definitely replace "cxu" with "ho" just to keep in character (while we're on that topic, what sound do ENGLISH owls make? Hoo hoo? I've never really seen a real owl before, though I have seen a kookaburra on the table I was eating at, but I'm guessing owls don't go and laugh).

For the owl, to keep things simple and close to the original, I'd suggest: O ĈU?

Don't judge me!
