Is Esperanto really an easy language?

Okay. What about "nove ordigi mia pensado"?

Well this is just me but I have actually found Esperanto to be very easy. As compared to other languages I have learned and/or tried to learn anyway.

No language is easy, unless it's pig latin or something.

I have never thought of "Hello, how are you?" as useless lol.

Perhaps you're grating with a grater in the traditional Cuban style?

Okay. What about "nove ordigi mia pensado"?
If I were to hear "Mi nove/nun/ĵus ordigis miajn pensojn", I would understand it as "I have sorted/reorganised my thoughts anew/again/just now", where as "I have changed my mind" means that the thoughts are being completely replaced.

At least, to an English speaker, the idea of reorganising one's thoughts means to rethink a process, or think about what one truly feels or is truly thinking or make sense of the thoughts in one's head.

This is why it's better to be a bit literal in Esperanto, and not so figurative; figurative meanings can be very unclear and confusing to people whose languages don't include certain comparisons or idioms.

I would simply say "Mi ŝanĝis mian opinion" for "I changed my mind". It's a variant that is clear to everyone.

Well from an EN perspective it ain't something that we have to learn by being told the meaning as much as something we get straight away, so maybe a more or less literal translation could work. Provided the other person knows how wild dogs/wolf packs work lango.gif.
