I don't think any gov would do that

Anyway, soon the whole internet is going to be encrypted. I used to worry about internet censorship but now i am not worried at all. Thank you Google.

The cost to buy a top-level domain is obscene. I would rather people put that money into something that provided tangible benefits for real people rather than line the pockets of ICANN.

Sombody has purchased http://esperan.to/ which is a great idea!
and it is a Esperanto Address! He even has a form to get a @Esperan.to email address.

way cool.

However his form to get a @esperan.to email does not work anymore,

Also I know that if you purchase your domain name from godaddy they will and have cancelled your domain name if they think you are a spammer - without notice. and is a big pain to get it reinstated I would trust ICANN a lot more than Godaddy,

but that is a very valid concern.

they could create an Espreanto scholarship for people who want a degree or something.
