Ok so I plan on launching a blogspot blog and I would like someone to help me translate my blogs into Esperanto.
Requirements:
1. You need to know how to structure sentences and paragraphs properly in Esperanto along with spelling.
2. You need to translate my blog post within 7 days of the post.

My blog will have its first post on January 1st 2011. It will be a political views blog. Private Message me to join. Once I choose someone as my translator we will discuss how we will work together either by PM or by Email. Thank you.

Or, you could learn some Esperanto yourself and just get points you were not sure about checked in the Forums here.

Most language queries are dealt with promptly, and good solutions usually emerge from the discussion.

Since this is a site for learners, this probably isn't the best place to ask for someone to fulltime translate your blog (unless you don't mind errors etc, in which case you'll have to be much more lenient with your criteria).

you can use http://traduku.net/ for the beginning but the result is always bad, you just can use it for geting a first version

I want to party on the sand at the beach while eating pineapples.
= (on there at least)
Mi volas partion sur la sablo sur la plaĝo dum manĝantaj ananasoj.
.... Might get a bit messy without extensive proofreading lango.gif

This sounds really dangerous: manĝantaj ananasoj okulumo.gif

Oh, I just laughed out loud.
He did say he needed somebody to help, this implies he is planning also to learn Esperanto. I'm about as good as that translator site at the moment. Man-eating pineapples rock!

Well I definitely am learning Esperanto, but by the time I can reach a level to which would be necessary to my blog would take several months. I can already speak a very basic Esperanto. I was just trying to launch both blogs at once to provide information worldwide. The translator would just be there for several months for me to get off my feet.

You'll progress faster in Esperanto if you write your own content.

(also, I think you'll have a hard time finding a fluent speaker willing to translate your blog - and do you really want someone else's grammatical errors, as opposed to your own, littering your blog?)

Yeah, when I started my own Esperanto blog, what I posted was just awful. Truly appalling. I was lucky if every sentence only contained ONE error.

But practice was the point, and so practice I did. With every post.

Now, I can't claim that the content of my blog has improved any since then, but I definitely can promise that my vocabulary and grammar skills have improved immensely.

Seriously, writing your own original material will be hard, and slow, and filled with mistakes, and you will learn more, and faster, than any other way. It's ok to be terrible. Go ahead. You won't be terrible very long, unless you don't do it at all.
