That is quite true . (and nice blue avatar, although I'll miss the frog (was that yours or someone elses?))
Speaking of which, "anglalingvoscienco" can be used as a sort of "training" tool to master the hard ng sounds and the infamous sc consonant cluster, all in one word.

(It should be noted that there actually is a "English linguistics" study according to wikipedia - here)

I guess English grammar could sort of be considered anglalingvoscienco, but what you linked to is more English literature, it seems like. Although it would incorporate some grammar and style, from my experience it is less of a science, that is less knowledgeable about modern linguistics. But I am sure anglalingvoscienco exists!

I know, it's a slightly silly article in some respects but basically this is what I was pointing to in the first paragraph:

Kelkaj vikipedianoj:English studies is an academic discipline that includes the study of literatures written in the English language (including literatures from the U.K., U.S., Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, the Philippines, India, South Africa, and the Middle East, among other areas), English linguistics (including English phonetics, phonology, syntax, morphology, semantics, pragmatics, corpus linguistics, and stylistics), and English sociolinguistics (including discourse analysis of written and spoken texts in the English language, the history of the English language, English language learning and teaching, and the study of World Englishes).

So really, linguistics from an English-language perspective (although that is valid I guess, since while every language can be made to fit a universal linguistics interpretation, it's easier to analyse the language by itself from it's own perspective...)

We should also remember that the Esperanto word scienco covers a wider field of meaning than something done in a laboratory; what is usually referred to as "science" in English would be naturscienco, "natural science" in Esperanto.
