Ek! sounds pretty good, so I think I'll go with that.

I could easily imagine fans of Esperantujo waving their green and white banners shouting "Fortu Esperantujo!" from the sidelines.

Bill the Cat was a character in a comic strip called Bloom County. He was Bloom County's joking attempt to come up with a character as popular as Garfield. Bill is a disgusting, sick-looking cat that smells bad and usually only says "ACK!" (which is supposed to sound like him coughing up a hairball) and "THPTHPTH!" (spitting/doing a "raspberry")

"...Bloom County is an American comic strip by Berkeley Breathed which ran from December 8, 1980, until August 6, 1989. It examined events in politics and culture through the viewpoint of a fanciful small town ..."

erinja:Italian, of course, says "Forza Italia", so that's "Strength, Italy!" That would be in Esperanto "Forto, teamo!" or you could even make it a verb, "Fortu, teamo!"Personally, as an Italian, I wouldn't use the expression 'Forza Italia', neither to encourage the country nor the political party. ('Povera Italia!' would be more appropriate for the latter).
...
"Fortu, teamo!" sounds alright to me, particularly if it's about cheering on a football team or ŭot hæv iŭ, but you woudn't say 'Sii forte, squadra!' in Italian. I never heard the expression 'go blue team' before, but I suppose that if the team in question is the Esperanto movement then one could say 'Ek samideanoj!' or 'Ek k-doj!'
The nearest Italian equivalent of the German 'los!' and the esperanto 'ek!' is 'coraggio!', i suppose, or 'avanti!' (as in 'avanti popolo alla riscossa bandiera rossa trionferà)

Our local American football team is the Ravens. The normal cheer would be "Go Ravens!"
(love the "Povera Italia")

erinja:Korsivo, maybe they cheer differently in Britain?...Hi Erinja
I don't knoŭ that but ĵou just made me realise that 'go blue team' maĵbe refers to the colour of the shirts? In that case the exact italian equivalent would be "viva gli azzurri", the national football (soccer) team, and the Esperanto something like "Ek la lazuroj", ĉu ne?
Ĵou seem to be omnipresent in this site.
