Miland:An online translator which includes Esperanto. The quality of translation is poor, as usual with online translators. It is better to learn esperanto - results will be more promising.
Anyway thanks for the link.

Miland:An online translator which includes Esperanto. It appears that they are actually using the GramTrans system for translating to and from Esperanto. GramTrans is listed as one of their 'partners'.
The interesting thing is that on the GramTrans page, it gives the impression that the translations are actually done firstly from English into Danish, and then from Danish into Esperanto.

Kraughne:Whoa. I gave it a tricky word, "housemates," and it actually came back as samdomanoj. This is five times better than Traduku.net.You mistake a translator with a dictionary. Finding a proper word is a relatively easy job. The program just looks up a database for a match. If the database is complete, then it comes out with a right word. Translating is something different. It requires understanding, and this is what the computers of today are not capable of yet. The translation is only 60-70% accurate. Sometimes the results are very funny and completely incorrect. But I must admit, it translates better than other translators. So it is a good one.
Polish original:
Litwo! Ojczyzno moja! ty jesteś jak zdrowie.
Ile cię trzeba cenić, ten tylko się dowie,
Kto cię stracił. Dziś piękność twą w całej ozdobie
Widzę i opisuję, bo tęsknię po tobie.
Translated by a online translator:
Litovio! Patrujo mia! vi estas kiel sano.
Kiom multaj vi necesaj valorigi, tion nur trovos,
Kiun vi perdis. Hodiaŭ beleco de via en la ĉiu ornamaĵo
mi vidas ke eĉ mi priskribas, ĉar mi longe post vi.
Translated by Antoni Grabowski
Litvo! Patrujo mia! simila al sano;
Vian grandan valoron ekkonas litvano
Vin perdinte. Belecon vian mi admiras,
Vidas ĝin kaj priskribas, ĉar hejmen sopiras.
Translated by L. Zamenhof:
Litova, kara patroland', la sanon vi prezentas!
Valoron vian tiu nur en plena vero sentas,
Kiu vin perdis. Pieje nun min via ĉarm' altiras,
Ravita mi priskribas vin, ĉar mi je vi sopiras.
Unbeatable.

Miland:An online translator which includes Esperanto. And they're using Apertium for the translations Esperanto-English. Via the settings you can choose whether to use Apertium or Gramtrans for translations Eng-Eo.

geo63:You mistake a translator with a dictionary.Oh, I'm sure.
Chainy:The interesting thing is that on the GramTrans page, it gives the impression that the translations are actually done firstly from English into Danish, and then from Danish into Esperanto. That's an interesting method. GramTrans' translations are generally smoother than Apertium's. It's lucky that Danish and English translations aren't too difficult to interchange; if it were Chinese instead of Danish, there would be no end to the mess.
