this is a very interesting discussion, as I'm learning both Esperanto & Latin. Latin also has a very free word order & sometimes it's a real challenge, but that's with poems & literature, if you look at Terence's plays the colloquial Latin has a more 'normal' word order.

But having studied French, Russian & Italian (ages ago) I enjoy the freedom of Esperanto, I'd say it subconsciously stirs up my creativity.
