Sinanthiel:Right now Alice in wonderland is too hard for me.Although they're not in print form, maybe something in here might be useful to you:
I have the original story in english, but for some reason it's still too hard for me to really understand. It still hard for me to recognize two words put together, my vocabulary is very limited, but I practice everyday, so it's getting better.
I don't have a dictionary, and I can't afford one.

Now, I haven't checked them out but they're on my to-do list, because they're graded by difficulty.
And as a dictionary, I think the one on this website is quite cool to play around with.

3rdblade:There is an English-Esperanto dictionary at gutenberg.org, too, though it's pretty old, and one or two of the expressions are not used anymore, or the English word has a slightly different meaning nowadays. By O'Connor and Hayes, 1906.Speaking of dictionaries, anyone know if/where I can find both or either of these:
- a dictionary of online/Web terminology;
- a dictionary of musical terms.
They can be either English, Spanish, or French-Esperanto.

ReVo has monolingual Esperanto definitions but many words have translations into other languages, including English, Spanish, and French. Komputeko lists equivalent terms in English and Esperanto, with some in French.
Wikipedia has this list of musical terms with Esperanto equivalents. I'm not a musician myself but the translations look fine. I actually understand more of the Esperanto terms then the Italian ones.
EDIT: Much larger musical dictionary, with terms by English alphabetical order and with monolingual Esperanto definitions categorized by subject and alphabetical order.

Another book there that seems to have been very well translated (remarkably fresh and evocative use of the language for 1908) is the Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
Here's the opening:
