I was cool with ĵig-segilo if ĵigo were a well-known Esperanto word for a mechanical jig. But Wells has ŝablono for jig, and when I look up the Italian equivalent of jig (dima), the definition I get leads me back to "ŝablono" as an appropriate translation.
I agree that the context of a jig, the dance, versus a jig, the fixture or template, would make it obvious which "ĵigo" we're talking about.
But my vote goes to "ŝablonsegilo" rather than ĵigsegilo. I think that use of the word ŝablono makes the meaning more clear, rather than depending on a reader's familiarity with the history behind the term "jigsaw puzzle".
