rickbhill:During the opening seconds of "The Universal Language" by Sam Green, a record player is shown spinning, playing an Esperanto version of "This Land Is Your Land".For what it's worth, Wikipedia has this to say about that:
Does anybody know the name of the artist who recorded it? It's not listed in the credits.
Belgian singing duo "Hanny and Adri" made a version in 1969 in Esperanto, titled "Jen Nia Mondo," literally "Behold Our World."

rickbhill:Thanks Mustelvulpo! Does the course CD play the entire song, uninterrupted start to finish?I can't speak for the CD, but the cassette version did between the introduction and the first lesson. The entire song.

The original in English was by Woody Guthrie. The lyrics can be found in a wiki article.
