- I can only tell you what she did in the mornings. She got up about ten. Or rather, that's when she would wake up, but didn't immediately get out of bed. I would take her her coffee, which she drank whilst smoking or reading.

- Magazines and novels. Often she would listen to the radio too. No doubt you noticed the set on the bedside table.
- Did she never make phone calls?
- At about eleven o'clock.

Don't worry about reporting spam on yourself. It doesn't do anything bad to your account or reflect badly on yourself, it's just a convenient way to ask the team for a post deletion.

The -us form in Esperanto is primarily for unreal hypotheticals and is not really suitable for translating past habits.
Mi alportus kafon implies an 'if'. You could just use the simple past '-is', but it may not then be clear whether you are talking about what happened on a specific occasion or what would generally happen.
It is not necessary to stick in a kutime/ĝenerale/plej ofte for every instance, but I think you need to set the scene.
When the dialogue kicks off you could use diri or paroli, but rakonti seems a better choice. To avoid repetition later, you can ring the changes with diri or paroli.
- Nu, rakontu
- Kion rakonti?
- Ĉion, kion vi scias.
- Tion mi jam diris al vi.
- Kiel ŝi pasigis siajn(la) tagojn?
- Mi povas paroli nur pri tio, kion ŝi faris matene. Ŝi kutime leviĝis (sin levis)...
For the wireless set, you can just say aparato as it is clear that you are talking about a radio-aparato. Ellitiĝi is to get out of bed. And the bedside table could be a noktotablo.
At the beginning Li sidiĝis fronte al ŝi seems most elegant, similarly kiun ŝi trinkis en la lito fumante kaj legante.

I've used the (outdated?) practice of using ad for repeated actions in the past, like the French imparfait.
