Seems like a very bold statement to make. The people you call "ideological" like to brag about how many books are written in Esperanto. What if those authors spent their time promoting Esperanto rather than writing books? And if we are going to talk about inward-looking versus outward, what could possibly be more inward-looking than writing a book in this language, that can only be enjoyed by people who already speak Esperanto?

I think this "finvenkist versus Raumist" divide is pointless. The movement has plenty of room for both kinds of people. People should do what makes them happy and stop worrying about whether other people are spending enough time promoting the language or enough time producing content for speakers of the language to enjoy.
