Tio ne sugestas ke "gumo" estas ankaŭ "eraser". Anstataŭe, ĝi sugestas ke "skrapgumo" estas "eraser".

EDIT: I didn't notice this was the English forum....

TRANSLATION: That page doesn't suggest that "gumo" is also "eraser". Instead, it suggests that "skrapgumo" is "eraser".

In English "yes", they are different words, but there are some languages, where those two meanings are close together:

Polish - guma = gum
Polish - gumka do mazania = eraser (small gum for erasing)
