Membership of the Academy is not a qualification, it is an honour - a recognition of good works.
Some members of the Academy have certainly got it wrong in the past - remember the ata/ita debate. And some members of the Academy still persist in talking about the meanings of roots or their class (only words have meaning).
But in any case, I didn't say that nombri was wrong in the specific context under discussion, merely that it is not supported statistically in the Tekstaro.
By the way, I see that in the latest version of PMEG 'korekta' is now labelled as malkorekta!!. Though this word has a long and noble history in the sense of correct
