I am trying to figure out the "je" preposition.
Both how it is used and when it is necessary. I found some explanations on the internet with the following examples:

A) Ni povas trankviligi ilin je kantoj
It is need here? Couldn't I express it just as well with "per"?
"Ni povas trankviligis ilin per kantoj"
We could tranquilize they by means of songs?

B)Li estas malsana je la stomako
Could I use "de" or "ĉe" here?
Ĉe is used with places, I don't know if I could use it in the context of the human body

C)Mi ne estas inda je tia afero
Could I use "de" here too?

D)Ŝi paŝis je kelkaj metroj
It is really need here?
"Ŝi paŝis kelkajn metroj" sounds pretty obvious to me that "she walked some meters"

Kaj "je", kaj "kelkajn metrojN", povus esti ĝustaj laŭ la kunteksto:

"Ŝi paŝis je kelkaj metroj for de mi" (tio estas, je distanco de kelkaj metroj disde kie mi paŝis)

"Ŝi paŝis kelkajn metrojn" = si transiris distancon de kelkaj metroj.

Noelekim respondis tre bone, sed mi aldonus, ke "je kelkaj metroj" kaj "kelkajn metrojn" temas pli pri la akuzatovo ol 'je'. Ĉe ĉi tiu okazo, la akuzativo anstataŭigas la prepozicion por indiki distanco (pli ĝuste mezurado).

Noelekim answered very well, but I would add that "je kelkaj metroj" and "kelkajn metrojn" are more about the accusative than 'je'. In this case, the accusative replaces the pereposition to indicate a distance (more correctly measurement).
