"Err, um" etc. in Esperanto?

How do you translate these? Something to easily note that the speaker is hesitating, changing the subject, being ineloquent, etc. Like this:

"So, uh, the exam - how did that go?"

"Err, it's not really like that."

Nu, tiel ĝi ne vere estas.

I would use things like "nu" and "do", and maybe "ehh..."

"Nu, ehh, la ekzameno - kiel estis tio?"

"Nu, gxi ne vere estas tiel."
