Hi, what's the correct way to name a community in Esperanto?

For example, let's say an Esperanto gamer community, or an Esperanto enthusiast community. Would it be...

Esperanto ludanto komunumo.
Esperanta ludanta komunumo.

or something completely different?

Thanks.

The first sentence is definitly wrong as a noun cannot modify another noun in Esperanto. The second one is probably worth avoiding as use of the active participle suggests the community is playing, not just that playing is something they do.

I would go for any of the following:

Esperanta komunumo pri ludado
Esperanta priluda komunumo
Esperanta lud-komunumo

This is one area I miss English's "just keep adding words, who cares what they are" attitude.

You can still do the English way, like this

Esperanto-ludanto-komunumo

But they have to be a single word.
Still, @tommjames's is way better, because that word above sounds like you are playing esperanto

It's already been mentioned that you nouns in Esperanto can't modify other nouns, aside from compound words like Esperanto-ludanto-komunumo.

I would name them with "Esperanto" as an adjective, and the community being "of gamers".

ex.
Esperanta Komunumo de Ludantoj (Esperanto Community of Gamers)
or
Komunumo de Esperantaj Ludantoj

There's a slight difference in meaning between the two, but that's how I would do it, probably leaning towards the first example.

Maybe everybody knowing Esperanto music could understand 'Espo lud-komunumo', too.
