Esperantujo can do without those people anyway, honestly.
And Alkanadi, ne need only look at all the failed Esperantidos, and the near-comatose state of Ido, to see that reforms are just impossible, no matter how good they might be, and no matter how enthusiastic you or a few other people are about them. The danger of someone learning a "fake Esperanto" is really low - again, I've never heard of it happening to anyone. At worst, I've seen newbies use things like na, which can be unlearned very easily.

spreecamper:I understand PMEG like trustworthy code of best practice, not more, not less. It's really just the learned opinion of a highly skilled Esperantist (and Academy member), Bertilo Wennergren. Not everything in it is uncontroversial, though it' still very well-regarded; nowadays it has probably eclipsed its main competitor, PAG.

So in my opinion it would be more appropriate to propagate the use of neutral bases from which the other forms can be derived, e.g. instead ofMi tre ŝatas ĉi tiun ideon.
patro - patrino - patro(j)/patrino(j) - gepatroj
you would have
virparento/parentiĉo - parentino - parento(j) - geparentoj
The sexistic roots like patro could become archaisms, just like the evolutionary model of Esperanto has foreseen.
