You know those cheesy little Valentines cards that kids give out? My girlfriend is giving out Dora the explorer cards, and I want to one-up her on cheesiness, so I figured Esperanto is well-suited to the task (not that I think Esperanto is cheesy, but my friends will.)

So.... help me come up with some Esperanto Valentine's one-liners!

Estu mia. Be mine.
Cxu vi estos mia Valentenamik(in)o? Will you be my valentine?
Felicxan Sankt-Valentenan tagon! Happy St. Valentine's day

Here's a cheesy poem I just made up:

Rozoj ruĝas, violoj bluas
Nian kunecon mi ege ĝuas

"Roses are red, violets are blue/ I really enjoy being with you" (liberal translation for the sake of rhyming in both languages rideto.gif )

PS. Ah, I forgot the English translation. What follows is a free rendering.

That made me think of the following joke:

He: I prayed to God for an angel. He gave you to me.

She: That's strange, he said nothing to me about it.

Isn't strange stranga? As strange would be an adverb, and you're talking about an adjective right?

Strange is here written as an adverb, there is no name following it -- "It's strange, he told...", "strangely (?)"
As an adjective, you should write "stranga ajxo, li diris..." -- "strange thing, he told..."
