Saluton,

could someones could explain me what kind of 'cradle bars' are meant inside this song lyrics? Could it be that bended window grill is synonym of 'cradle bars'? If yes, then 'fenestrokrado' should be correct translation, cxu ne?

From the cradle bars
Comes a beckoning voice*

*probably made by some strong (coastal) wind?

Could it simply be the bars of a baby's cradle?

Yes, you're right, thanks, that makes much more sense. Because lyrics seem to be adult written from pubertal kid's perspective the writer did name baby cradles more 'prison-like' term = 'cradle bars', although lyrics writer only seem to assume some baby cradle in the neighborhood due to baby voices and own baby cradle experiences. I think I got idea of this lyrics.

Esperanto version de Wikipedia has picture of this somewhat ancient lulilo/ baby care. I grow up in a buggy and later learnt to walk inside (static) playpen. So, thats probably why I didn't get correct association. Somewhat vague I remember once I have seen such kind of baby cradle in museum which did illustrate life in 18th and 19th century.

Dankon al ĉiuj por via helpo/ Thanks everybody for your help.
