I am a begginer and I am puzzled about how to translate those little words constantly added "alone-standing" to colloquial speech

Especially "like", but also "sort of", "kind of", "kinda", ...

How do I translate that alone-standing "like"? "kiel", "samkiel", "kvazaŭ", "simile"

Example sentence :
I never, like, ... liked a girl before.

Is it " Mi neniam, kiel, ... ŝatis knabinon antaŭe" ?
or something else?

What are your proposition for these words?

Laŭ tatoeba, ŝajnas, ke iel/ia (aŭ kiel/kia, tiel/tia) taŭgus, laŭ la kunteksto.

Mi pensas ke "ie/ia" faras la plej sento
