Very often 'ke' is right after the verb: "ĉiuj opinias, ke...", "mi aŭdis, ke...", "vi scias, ke...", which makes sense because, as I said, it introduces a direct object, or a subject, like for instance "plaĉas al mi, ke la suno brilas". ("I appreciate that the sun is shining", but, more literally, "[the fact] that the sun shines is pleasant to me").

And yes, I'm relearning a lot of Italian at the moment so you also helped me with my Italian, I keep on forgetting those 'quale/questo/quello' words Dankon denove
