I have several times seen "communist" translated into Esperanto as "komunisto". I'm wondering if this is really correct, as -isto implies somebody who does "komun'" as a job or hobby. Isn't the right word for this "komunismano"?

darkweasel:"communist"Komunisto is in Wells as well as PIV 2005, but in my opinion komunismulo should also be suitable. Komunismano seems all right to me, though I don't recall seeing it in print outside PMEG.
