Iĉo:That's strange, the word I knew for starch is amelo but the Lernu dictionary also gave me apreturo. I've never heard of it being called "fikulo".Fekulo is potato starch. Fecola, in Italian.
Forfikulo ... sounds like it has something to do with forfikigxu!I do not especially like 'forfikiĝu' (or variations on that form), it sounds too English. Cetere, kiel oni povas fikiĝi for?. I prefer 'forpafiĝu', it might pack a weaker punch, but it is much easier to visualize and understand. It is unfortunate that it does not lend itself to wordplay.

If you want some weaker ones (in the vein of "rack off"), how about forbloviĝu?Yes, this would definitely be as acceptable as forpafiĝu. I just have a problem with forfik-, I can't see how one can be fikita for. I take it as an idiom, and I would never translate an idiom as is, not if I want to be serious to any degree, that is.
