The file should be compatible with all operating systems, as Penumbra: Overture is cross-platform for Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows. If you have any problems, please post a reply to the thread so that your question can benefit all.

I'm assuming that there's nothing like "Paroli jargone kun > bestaĉo" (Talk gibberish with > a monster) that would break the -n for everything method?
Also out of curiosity, are you guys doing commands in the imperative form (which is like telling the onscreen character to do something) (manĝu) or infinitive form (which is like having a label telling you what actions are possible) (manĝi)?

Oh, and we need someone to voice Red in-game. Well, it's not really needed, but it would be nice. I could try to voice Red, but since I'm thirteen... well, who knows, it could be good!

josephschwenker:Patrick does not have Penumbra: Overture either, so you could still be of help, and there is a demo of Overture available that should work with the .lang file. Also, though I don't see an option to use manĝi in-game, combine is used often. Combine Baxtrin with cotton string. Combine soaked string with gunpowder. I found a cotton string. Thus, I think that we might want to use -n, though I'm not sure if there are any situations where you won't want to use it e.g. (Estas) a key-n.Ah I see, that sounds good (the lack of a preposition based accusative does make things hard eh). I guess the people using the translation would be pretty forgiving as well if they saw "estas ____n" seeming as these sorts of grammatical case features are hard to get around in a game translation.
As for the demo, I'll have to wait till the next internet billing month before my speeds resume to a state where download games is possible, and I'll give the translation a try in game and see how it all works out
Daŭrigu la bonegan laboron!

Penumbra: Overture Episode 1 - The scariest part
Penumbra is scary
edit: Well, at least someone has a hammer to defense oneself.

josephschwenker:ceigered: I don't want to sound younger, I want to sound older; Red was 14 when he was trapped in the mind, which was probably in the forties or fifties, maybe? So he's probably fifty or sixty now, he sounds somewhat like an old man. Since you look like an adult, maybe you could voice him?I'd love to have a try but I've got no microphone for my computer (but I'm only 19 anyway, our 40 year old man might still sound a bit young ). What format do the voice sounds need to be in? The best method I can think of that I can do is use my iPhone's microphone to record with .
