I'm translating a poem (with simple grammar!) Can anyone help with these translations? When it's ready I'll post it up on the eo part of the boards.

I deliberately failed him: Mi intence malsukcesiĝis lin
team-mates: skipamikoj
fellows (peers): samuloj
inquisitor: inkvizitoro (this is from my old O'Connor/Hayes dictionary)
another (person): alio
(What did I do for him?) Only what any mother would have done: Nur kiu iu patrino faritus

I'm not really sure about the first three english words:
team-mates: teamanoj
fellows: kamaradoj
inquisitor: inkvizitoro
another (person): alia, aliulo
What did I do for him?) Only what any mother would have done: Nur tion, kion ĉiu patrino farus.
What's the meaning of: I failed him? Mi maltrafis lin?

3rdblade:I deliberately failed him
If you mean "I deliberately gave him a failing mark" (in an examination, for example) that could be Mi intence malsukcesigis lin.

However if you mean "I let him down on purpose" that could be Mi intence neplenumis devon* al li.

*or promeson

That's what I mean. (I think. Sometimes one doesn't know with poems...) Dankon!
