1)How does one say, "two plus two equals four?"
2)How does one say, "I will be there this summer?"
3)How does one say, "I will be there that summer?"
4)Is "gxiro" an appropriate translation of "endorsement?"

Thanks to anyone who can help.

OK, here goes:

1) Du plus du egalas kvar.

2) Ĉi-somere mi estos tie.

3) Tiu somero mi estos tie.

4) And what type of endorsement do you mean? According to the Reta Vortaro, ĝiro is a signature as on the back of a check or the act of signing or transfering money between accounts.

Thanks a bunch! The "endorsement" to which I am referring is that of the sentence "An endorsement from the Pope would mean a lot politically."

My handy dandy Comprehensive English-Esperanto Dictionary suggests "subten/o", which means support.

mccambjd:1) Du plus du egalas kvar.
"du plus du estas kvar" is also acceptable.
3) Tiu somero mi estos tie.
"tiun someron", "je tiu somero" or "tiusomere".

As for the endorsement, in its meaning of "approval or sanction", you could use "aprobo".
