"I have bad gas."
"Spitters (people who spit) are quitters."
I heard these two phrases today and wondered, how would I say that in EO?

This may sound a bit crude to some speakers, but for "I have bad gas" I'd say "Mi estas furzema."

As for "Spitters are quitters," I have no idea what it's supposed to mean.

Maybe for "Spitters are quitters" we can say something like:

Kraĉemulo estas abdikemulo/rezignemulo.

How about "la interna gasvalvo estas iomete malfirma hodiaŭ" (while patting ones stomach and fanning the air around your nose as if to signify you ate something bad and it's out for revenge) lango.gif?

As for spitters being quitters, I'm with yugary. Google search I do not recommend for anyone eating food or under the age of 18, but there's clearly evidence of another, more all-ages suitable meaning, but I could not find it, just stuff about tabacco and tattoos and the previous topic which shall not be mentioned...

And the literal meaning sounds a bit strange and generic, like saying "fed up people aren't happy" or "people who have a glove to catch something play baseball" lango.gif
