Just to finish this thread out. I did manage to make my Tomtom GPS speak Esperanto. it works well, although the volume level is a little low. Thanks for the discussion.

If you have a Tomtom GPS, you can find my Esperanto voice through yout 'Tomtom Home'. The voice is called 'Dachjo'

So what does one have to do exactly to hear what final solutions you adopted?

I just put them up on this blog entry. I ended up consulting more than just this group.

From The Muppet Movie:

Kermit: [navigating in the Studebaker] Bear left.
Fozzie: Right, frog.

P.S. Kermit is obviously a Finvenkisto.

I found this after looking for something about Esperanto GPS. This is an interesting idea. It would be interesting if there was a GPS that has a built-in Esperanto voice.

I am curious to hear whether you used the word "liva", or "maldekstra". I can't quite figure it out.
