I don't quite get the word "saŭdado". Is nostalgia the right word for it?

P.S. Apparently, it's borrowed directly from Portuguese (saudade) and it's difficult to translate into English. XD

Yes, that's what it means---nostalgia or longing. It also refers to the feeling of missing someone. And you are correct, it originally came from Portuguese.

Someone who doesn't spend a lot of time talking to Esperantists with Portuguese as their native language is unlikely to understand the word "saŭdado".
