So, that's pretty much what you've all been saying in this thread. Apart from 'koketa', that is, but that sounds a little odd to me. Would you agree?
I've added 'cute' to the Lernu dictionary as follows:
cute = ĉarma, dolĉa (sweet), aminda (lovable), bel(et)a, dorlotinda (worthy of pampering)
I added the extra info in the brackets to make it easier to choose the right nuance. "Worthy of pampering" sounds rather cumbersome in English, but I couldn't think of a more sophisticated way of putting it!

I wouldn't personally use 'cute' to mean just 'attractive', but it seems that some people do.

Cute, on the other hand is invariably linked to approval.
Okul-agaca, okul-ŝoka, okul-doloriga or okul-irita, however, imply a negative evaluation.

sudanglo:Il est mignon M. Pignon!I have watched it, and I found it nearly unwatchable for boredom. I watched about 70% of it then decided I couldn't take it anymore, and I turned it off. I know it is meant to be a classic of French comedy but unfortunately of the French comedies I've watched, I've found so few of them actually to be funny. May of them seemed more like tragedies to me.
Have you never watched Le Dîner de Cons, Erinja? If you haven't, then you are in for a real treat.
I know that comedy is deeply cultural and since I've spent zero time immersed in French culture, that might be part of the problem.
