This is Ezra 5:8. GNB puts it "Your Majesty should know, that.." which might be translated Ni informu vian reĝan moston, ke.. However CEV actually omits the phrase and gets on with the report immediately after the initial salutation to the King.

Ah well, there you have it then.

But note that there's whole range of nuances that can be expressed in Esperanto with varations on scii.

Sciigu al la Reĝo. La Reĝo sciiĝu. La Reĝo sciu. La Reĝo devus ekscii. And the very flowery, Estu sciate al la Reĝo - which is about as normal language as 'Be it known unto the King'

Looks like a calque of Russian to me. I don't believe such artificial constructs (notice the Dative case in Esperanto too!) should be considered appropriate for 'international' language.

Oh, if they are in the presence of the King and addressing him then Oni sciigu al la Reĝo is definitely not appropriate.
