I guess I am not alone who doesn't know the defintion of a "gunstar" so could you please define it in order to make it easier for us to give a suitable translation.

I think of a fusilo as more of a rifle. A generic gun is usually a pafilo.

Midzama, this is a weird question, but where does your username come from? I saw it and at first I thought maybe you were a troll purposely choosing an indecent name, but I looked at your profile it was clear that you are a serious person, not out to make trouble; I thought that maybe this name has something to do with Buddhism, and the name's "profane look" in Esperanto is just a coincidence.

Pafstelo.

But that is translating the words and possibly not the meaning. Is gunstar literally a star used as a gun or are you using star in the sense of being very good? If the latter than perhaps paflerto.

Perhaps Midzama is Tarzan speak - Me Tarzan, you Jane - Mi Dzama, Vi Ĝejn.

Is it not the phonetic spelling of "midsummer"?

No.

The S in summer is not voiced - it would come out phonetically as s, not z.

Could it not be influenced by the voices d which preceeds it?
