traubenschorle:Thank you very much for your responses. Unfortunately I think that most of the material is inappropriate for me and my brother. But nevertheless I found a video which I really appreciate: BookBox
My husband loves those BookBox videos, there are a lot of them (but the moral at the end of each story - it can be just too sweet and heartwarming!)

Is this sentence
Estas la amo kaj afableco kiujn vi ĉiuj montris al mi hodiaŭ kiuj estas la plej bona donaco.
correct? Why "kiuj"?

P.S.: It's taken from the BookBox christmas story.

amo kaj afableco - two things, therefore plural

Thanks, I understand.

Here's a question: is the Christmas story by Henry Van Dyke The Other Wise Man available in Esperanto?

As soon as I looked at it, I thought: that's exactly the sort of thing that would get translated into Esperanto.

And lo and behold, in the catalogue of the Butler Library, forty miles away from you:
Van Dyke, Henry. La kvara mago. Tradukis Émile Boirac en 1909.
Ref: LR 3 398, 442
This must be a very rare book, but I wonder if it would be possible for someone (not necessarily you—it's forty miles after all) to find a copy, scan it and put it online?

Thanks, I didn't know of this. It would be of benefit to Esperantists generally, since speakers of English can read the original. I have suggested, as a supporting member of EAB, to the librarian that the book be put online, as a part of early E-literature, and also because of its spiritual value.
