I gotta say, this is NOT giving me the impression that esperanto is easy to learn. 
I think for the time being, when I have to write it on my shopping list, I'll just write bleacho. Ends with "o", so it's a noun. It's all good.

bonobobabe:I gotta say, this is NOT giving me the impression that esperanto is easy to learn.I sympathise. I'm quite sure that if you told people 'mi aldonis bleachon al miaj vestoj' when talking about laundry, they would understand. Even if Wells and McLinen have blankigilo!
