The discussion about Unfaithful Malinda got me thinking about a question about the company whose product I hawk. Kia automobiles. I can see a conversation quickly deteriorating into a bad "who's on first?" routine.

Mi estas aŭtovendisto.

Kian aŭton vi vendas?

Prave.

I'm a car salesman.

You sell Kia autos?

Right.

That is very interesting! And kind of funny, because they want to know what kind of cars you sell, but unintentionally say it in their question MDR! Also don't forget about the -j when you are talking about plurals ridulo.gif

I thought about whether it should be Kian auxto vi vendas (What kind of car do you sell?) vs. Kajn auxtojn vi vendas? (What kinds of car do you sell?) And if you're asking about what kind car (= what make).

The interpretation, You sell Kia autos (which yeah would be Kiajn auxtojn vi vendas)...

One way you say that you sell Kia cars is: Mi vendas aŭtojn fare de Kia ridulo.gif

Or if you take Kias to be noun, which of course it is a noun because we don't have number agreement with adjectives in English, just make it a noun the Esperanto way:

Mi vendas Kia-ojn.
