inquisitor: inkvizitoro
another (person): alia, aliulo
What did I do for him?) Only what any mother would have done: Nur tion, kion ĉiu patrino farus.
What's the meaning of: I failed him? Mi maltrafis lin?

3rdblade:I deliberately failed himIf you mean "I deliberately gave him a failing mark" (in an examination, for example) that could be Mi intence malsukcesigis lin.
However if you mean "I let him down on purpose" that could be Mi intence neplenumis devon* al li.
