Ekzemple "Esti sen akcepto de la mio estas esti sen animo" (just to screw around the psychology a bit ).

ceigered:Has "mio" been used for "ego" before? The problem is the "Ego" here will be in the Freudian sense. I kind of feel the English is using "Ego" in a slight different way, meaning "pride" or something.

I thought egoo meant the freudian sense

LyzTyphone:I think that by now the word "ego" in English or Esperanto is fully post-Freudian. Most people who use the word are unaware of its technical definition in psychoanalytic theory. On its own, I think the word "ego" is used simply to mean one's sense of self. But in expressions such as "feed one's ego" it means to acquire an exaggerated sense of self-importance. I think pretty much anyone would understand "Malnutri la egoon" to mean the opposite of that, i.e., something more along the lines of cultivating humility.
The problem is the "Ego" here will be in the Freudian sense. I kind of feel the English is using "Ego" in a slight different way, meaning "pride" or something.
