geo63:In Polish, is there really a plural of "money"? Somehow I've seen *monoj only from Polish speakers, and somehow I think that this word can't logically be plural (after all, what's the difference to the singular?).

pieniądze, forsa, kasa, złociaki, złotówki, złocisze, baksy (US $), dolce (US $), funciaki (pounds), sałata (salad - he he), talarki,... and so on.
coins = monety, bilon

pordoj as one door(I sometimes say to someone in english: "could you close the doors?", but I think about only one door)
violonoj as one violin
because it is plural in polish.
