As a speaker of British English, the term whirligig for something you put in the garden is somewhat alien and just conveys the idea of something that goes round and round. So a vague word like giraĵeto seems to me to be on the same level.

Ĉi tiuj (li gestas) estas tre popularaj kaj ankaŭ prezindaj.
